2008 Calendar of Events

    1. Monday February 2, 2009, 7:15 pm meeting entitled “ How to be an exhibitor” and will encompass: Pre-project planning: calculating cost, what to feed, animal weight to begin project etc.   Each animal species will be discussed. In addition, meeting attendance will be stressed and who exhibitors can contact for help on their project.   Meeting will be conducted by Thad.  
    2. Tuesday March 10, 2009, 7:15 pm meeting entitled “ Producer Panel” and will encompass: animal nutrition, what feeds will help put an weight, what feeds will hold back weight gain.   Meeting will be conducted by John.
    3. Tuesday April 7, 2009, 7:15 pm Marchant’s Foods, Brussels meeting entitled “ Carcass Evaluation ”  
    4. Thursday June 25, 2009, 7:15 pm meeting entitled “ Fair Preparation” and will encompass letter writing to potential buyers, getting your animal prepared for the fair, making signs-correctly, educating about the importance of record books and drug intervals as Fair approaches.
    5. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 6:30 pm meeting entitled “ Poultry Fitting and Showing” at Fairgrounds.   Animals will be banded at this time.   Meeting conducted by Mary Malvitz.
    6. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, 6:00 pm meeting entitled “ Rabbit Fitting, Showing, and Tattooing” at Fairgrounds.   Meeting conducted by Sue Havel.
